Compound selection determines seal life in service.
The elastomer compound determines whether a seal survives its operating environment. Temperature range, fluid chemistry, pressure and dynamic duty all affect material selection. Santoo holds twelve compound families in stock and can specify the correct grade for the application.
API 6A certified compounds for oil and gas. NSF approved grades for potable water and food-contact. WRAS listed elastomers for drinking water. Every compound is batch-traceable.
